In April this year, he published a biography of this wonderful California composer (see www.welchorganist.com). James had planned to give a recital of his music to help launch the publication, but COVID got in the way and everything had to be canceled for a while. But thanks to live-streaming, he is finally able to share this recital.

The recital will be played on the three-manual Rodgers 955 organ at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Palo Alto, where he has been fortunate to be one of their organists for 20 years now.
